HOUSTON – A police chase ended in north Houston early Tuesday after the suspect’s vehicle was t-boned by a car in an intersection.
Houston police said around 5 a.m., an officer attempted to pull over a car near T.C. Jester at the North Freeway, but the driver refused to stop. The driver led police on a 15-minute chase, heading northbound on Northborough.
A van heading eastbound on Rankin crashed into the suspect’s vehicle in the intersection, ending the chase.
Two suspects were taken into custody, but one suspect managed to run away. That suspect was seen fleeing north into a wooded area.
HPD searched with a K-9 unit and a police helicopter, but the suspect was not found. Suspect flees into wooded area after chase ends in crash in north Houston.
